Q.        How do I pay?

A.        Pinewood Hotel accepts the following mode payment

  • Debit your Indian Bank Account (ICICI, CityBank, HDFC, UTI, Centurian Bank, and more)
  • Credit Card (Visa, Master Card, American Express, Diners Club International, Citibank e-Cards, JCB Cards)
    If you choose not to use our payment gateway, you can also send your payment using the following mode:
  • Demand Draft in the name of Pinewood Hotel, Shillong. Your reservation will be blocked for a maximum of 7 days from the date you made the reservation. If we do not received the payment within this time, our system will automatically cancel the reservation.
    The Demand Draft must be send to the following address:
    Manager
    Pinewood Hotel
    European Ward, Rita Road,
    Shillong - 793001.

Q.        How much advance do I pay now?

A.        Below is our advance payment calculation rule.

  • One day booking - 100 % of booking amount.
  • Two or more days booking advance amount will be 50% of your reservation amount.

Q.        When do I pay the remaining amount?

A.        The remaining amount is due upon arrival at the Hotel during the time of check-in

Q.        Why should I book with you?

A.        You get a fix rate. The rates in many hotel go up during busy / holiday season.

Q.        Is my Credit Card / Bank information secured?

A.        Yes. We use CC Avenue gateway which is secure with very sign secure payment system. All your Credit / Debit Card or Bank information is highly secured.

Q.        What is my cancellation fee?

Q.        What is my cancellation fee?

A.        In case request for cancellation of reservation is received before 7 clear days or more in advance before the scheduled date of check-in, 80% of advance will be refunded. If the request for cancellation of reservation is received between 4 to 6 days, 50% of the advance taken will be refunded. No refund will be given, if the cancellation intimation is received less than 4 days before the date of arrival.
No Shows: Full booking amount will be charged to your card in case of no show.

Q.        Can I make changes to my reservation information (Arrival date, Room Type)?

A.        Yes. Any change has to be made at least 24 hours before arrival time. If the time of cancellation is less than 48 hours before arrival, you have to call our hotel to cancel the reservation. E-mail Cancellations will be honoured only if done at least 48 hours before arrival date.

Q.        How do I cancel my reservation?

A.        Cancellation is easy. Just call our customer service No. 0364-2223116 or send us an e-mail from the same account that you mentioned during reservation and we will cancel your reservation immediately.

Q.        How do I know if my booking is confirmed?

A.        Once we have checked with the hotel about the Room availability you will received and e-mail from us confirming your booking. This usually take less than 24 hours. But it may sometime take longer.

Q.        I have already made a booking and have made advance payment as well. However I have not received the confirmation e-mail yet. What should I do?

A.        All booking made between 7:00 am and 8:00 pm (IST) are activated within 2 to 3 hours of booking. Booking made after 9:00 pm are activated on the next business day. If you have a booking for over 24 hours and have not received a confirmation e-mail yet, please e-mail us at pinewoodshillong@gmail.com We work hard to response to all e-mails as soon as possible.

Q.        Do I pay a reservation fees?

A.        No. we will not charged you reservation fees.

Q.        What are the check-in and check-out time of a hotel?

A.        The check-in and check-out time is 12:00 Noon (Local Hotel Time)

Q.        How do I pay the hotel bill?

A.        You pay the hotel bill in Cash or Credit Card at the Hotel.

Q.        How do I make online booking for a room on your hotel?

  • Option-I: You may, Choose "Instant Reservation: Credit/Debit Card" option to reserve your accommodation instantly by using your Credit/Debit Card. For making payment through credit/debit card, you may choose any one of the payment gateway. The debit card shall be accepted provided your issuing bank has enabled the same for internet usage.
  • Option-II: Alternatively, if desired accommodation is available, either contact the Manager, Pinewood Hotel, Rita Road, European Ward, Shillong-1 (Tel. 0364-2223116/2223146/2223263 for instant confirmed reservation, OR send an Email for Reservation Request, using the option given above.
    • Each Request is processed immediately and accommodation, if available, is Blocked only, and a unique Customer-ID is alloted. The option to Know Your Customer-ID, use the option given above.
    • Blocking request should be for at least 8-Days+Today. The payment where HDFC Bank Branch exists, in the city of the customer must be made within 2 days of getting Customer-ID. Other customers may send the payment by post. In any case, the payment against blocking should reach at least 4-Days before the Date, reservation starts from, or 30-Days from the Date of blocking, whichever is earlier.
